Senators and House of Representatives members have harped on the need for citizens to continue to pray for peace in Nigeria.
Mr Salami, chairman of the House of Representatives Public Accounts Committee, prayed to God to keep Nigeria united so as to continue its development.
The lawmakers, who came together for a Christmas carol asked Nigerians to pray to God to guide all leaders in the right direction.
He said the Christmas period called for sober reflection on the need to foster unity and peace in the country.
