Private Jet with 11 Passengers Crash-Lands At Kano Airport

A private jet operated by Flybird Airlines experienced a crash-landing at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) on Sunday morning, sparking concern among airport users and the aviation community.

According to eyewitness accounts, the aircraft, which had departed from Abuja, was carrying 11 persons, including three crew members, when it encountered difficulties and crash-landed at approximately 9:30 a.m.

 

Tense Moments for Passengers

 

Passengers reportedly experienced tense moments during the incident before being safely evacuated from the aircraft. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were immediately reported following the incident.

 

Airport authorities acted swiftly to secure the scene, while emergency response teams were deployed to ensure the safety of all passengers and personnel.

 

The incident has raised questions about flight safety protocols, though investigations into the cause of the crash-landing are expected to commence soon.
