Mr President, Shouldn’t We ‘Dance’ Small For Traore?

I doubt Burkina Faso has any aircraft like this C-130 yet they had the temerity to seize ours. They should just thank their stars. If it were in those days (1979-1993) by now even their Head of State, Traore, will be hiding inside a rat hole to escape from NAF bombs and sea bombardment from NNS Aradu.

May be the showman Burkinabe leader should ask Cameroonian leaders the type of military force President Shehu Shagari mobilized in 1981 to the warftont that compelled them to quickly apologize for daring to kill 5 Nigerian soldiers.

Chai….ya diwa sha!!

If I were President Bola Tinubu we would have ordered NNS Aradu to immediately start sailing towards Burkina Faso with 20 fighter aircrafts as escort. If our C-130 aircraft and soldiers are not relased then we allow our military use Burkina Faso “hold body”. International negotiations are done from strenght, not weakness. Moreover, shoe get size and Traore should be made to wear his correct size.

We know the long runnimg asymmetric war with loval and international terrorists is by far more difficult for Nigerian military relative to conventional warrfare. Our gallant soldiers can use Burkina Faso to remind the world of how we pacified Liberia before America could come to claim undeserved glory.

Mr President, please release Nigeria’s Special Forces to go and teach Ibrahim Traoré how to dance “okoiboribo and monkey banana” music. Starched uniform don dey make butterfly believe it is now a bird. He and his allies in Mali and Niger should be clearly reminded that Nigeria is the dominant power in West Africa and you just don’t seize her soldiers and jet to massage your over-starched ego. Such blunder deserves response of the kind Shagari demonstrated against Cameroon in 1981.
