Former Nigerian anti-terror leader Dr. Ahmad Amadi Jnr has issued a stark statement calling for a U.S. military invasion led by President Donald J. Trump to combat terrorism in Nigeria. The ex-leader of the group “Muslims Against Terror Organizations” (MATO) stated it is “very shameful” for Nigerian President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the National Assembly, and Muslims in the North not to welcome Trump to “fight and eliminate all the terrorists, bandits etc that have been killing… innocent people and kidnaping for ransom in the North for many decades.”

The statement provides a religious justification for this extreme measure, asserting that it is “written in the Quran at the ‘End Time'” that groups like Boko Haram and ISIS would appear and that the Prophet Muhammad “urged all Muslims to kill them whenever you found them.” Based on this, Dr. Amadi Jnr declared that any Muslim who does not support Trump’s intervention “is not a Muslim and he should be regarded as a terrorist.”
He further claimed that his former organization, alongside the Civilian Joint Task Force (Civilian-JTF), has been unable to finish off the terrorists despite help from the Nigerian Army, DSS, and Air Force. He directly accused “secret sponsors of the Nigerian Politicians” of being “behind sponsoring this terrorists, Boko Haram, ISIS, bandits, in Nigeria.”
The statement concludes with a direct appeal: “I appreciate the American President Donald. J. Trump, for responding to the message… Therefore I urge the American President Donald. J. Trump to act fast to fight the terrorists, bandits etc in Nigeria and also go after those, who are sponsoring this terrorists, bandits etc in Nigeria.” Dr. Amadi Jnr ended with a prayer for peace in the name of “Almighty God, Chukwu Okike Abiama”
