In a powerful show of unity, stakeholders from the Old Bende region have officially endorsed Governor Alex Otti as their sole candidate for the 2027 governorship election!
This decision was announced during a courtesy visit to Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh, the member representing Aba North/South Federal Constituency. The union, comprising traditional rulers, community leaders, and political stakeholders, passed a vote of confidence in Governor Otti, citing his transformational projects and impactful governance.
Hon. Ikwechegh had earlier stated that no son or daughter of Old Bende would be allowed to run against the Governor in 2027, a position that has now been firmly backed by the union.
The group has also announced plans for a grand reception to honour the Governor in Aba, a testament to the widespread appreciation for his work.
