Cambridge Awards Okonjo-Iweala It's Highest Honour

 

 

In a landmark achievement that has ignited a wave of pride across the nation and the African continent, the Director-General of the World Trade Organization, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has been awarded one of the highest honours by the University of Cambridge.

This prestigious accolade solidifies Dr. Okonjo-Iweala’s position as a global intellectual and leadership powerhouse. The Honorary Fellowship is a recognition of her “exceptional contributions to international trade, economics, and public service,” placing her among the most distinguished alumni and affiliates of the historic university.

With this fellowship, Dr. Okonjo-Iweala now holds a staggering portfolio of over 25 international honorary awards, officially making her the first Nigerian to achieve such a formidable collection of global academic and professional honours.
