PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria – September 17, 2025 – In a significant move underscoring its commitment to human capital development, the Omega Power Ministries (OPM), under the leadership of its General Overseer, His Royal Majesty King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has sent four more young men to work for a major oil company in Saudi Arabia.
The departure, which took place today, comes just three days after the highly publicized apology from the “HAPPY BOYZ,” a group of young men previously sent abroad by the church who were recently disciplined for misconduct. The event signals the church’s unwavering dedication to its international job placement program.
The process for this latest cohort began months ago when representatives from the Saudi Arabian oil company visited Port Harcourt. After a rigorous review of curricula vitae (CVs), shortlisted candidates underwent practical tests at an OPM Elder’s facility.
Those who successfully passed the assessments were issued official appointment letters and subsequently sent to the OPM Free Specialist Hospital for mandatory medical tests. All four individuals are confirmed to be full members of the Omega Power Ministries.
The church, through its leader, Apostle Chibuzor, funded the acquisition of their international passports. Subsequently, the Saudi-based company secured their work visas and provided full payment for their flight tickets to the Middle Eastern nation.
This initiative is part of a long-running program by the church that has, for over 15 years, facilitated overseas university scholarships and international job placements for Nigerians. The church states that these programs are fully funded through tithes and offerings contributed by its members.
“We believe in human capacity development,” a statement from the church read, echoing Apostle Chibuzor’s frequent pronouncements. “This is a continuous effort to empower our youth to earn a better living and contribute positively to society.”
The successful dispatch of this new group has been met with celebration within the church community, with many hailing it as a testament to faith and practical empowerment. The prevailing sentiment was captured in the church’s closing remark: “All glory be to God Almighty.”
