Yesterday, July 17, 2025, marked a day of celebration and divine testimony as Vivian, a young woman once lost and abandoned, returned to Omega Power Ministry (OPM) Church with gratitude hampers to thank God for her graduationâa dream she once thought impossible.
Her journey began years ago when she was just 13 years old, found wandering alone inside OPM Church by security personnel. Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the General Overseer, instructed that she be taken to the police for assistance. However, after days of television appeals and failed attempts to place her in two different motherless babies’ homesâboth of which rejected herâthe police had no choice but to return her to OPM Church.
During an interview, Vivian shared her heartbreaking past. Her fatherâs sister had deceived her family, claiming she would take Vivian to the city for education. Instead, upon arriving in Port Harcourt, she was dressed up and forced to stand by the roadside for prostitution. When no customers came, they returned home, but a neighbor told Vivian about OPM Churchâwhere she fled for safety.
Moved by her plight, Apostle Chibuzor immediately enrolled her in school. At 13, she had no hope, but today, she stands as a graduate of International Relations. Her transformation didnât stop thereâshe once traveled to Dubai with other children from the church for a holiday, and now, she is set to relocate to Canada this year for a caregiver job, fully funded through OPMâs tithes and offerings.
Apostle Chibuzor expressed his joy, saying, “Glory be to God! This is why we do what we do. From a rejected child to a graduate and now a Canada-bound professionalâonly God can write such a story.”
Vivianâs story is a powerful reminder that no life is beyond redemption. Through the kindness of OPM Church and the grace of God, a once-hopeless child now has a bright future.
