18 Years in Prison for Balthazar Engonga Ebang, the Famous Totobrity

Balthazar Engonga Ebang, who rose to fame in late 2024 after his s3x tapes went viral on social media, now faces justice for alleged financial misconduct. He is on trial for his management of a state-owned company under the Ministry of Finance. 

 

The trial, which began this Monday and will last three days, also involves several other officials from the public enterprise. The prosecution has requested an 18-year prison sentence for Balthazar Engonga Ebang, along with a fine of nearly one billion CFA francs (the currency of the CEMAC region).

In detail, the prosecution has demanded:

A- 8 years for embezzlement

B- 4 years and 5 months for illicit enrichment

C- 6 years and 1 day for abuse of power

D- A fine of 910 million CFA francs

E- A ban from holding any public office during his sentence

 

The defense has rejected all charges against their clients.
