Enugu, Nigeria | June 30, 2025
Today marks four years since veteran Nollywood actor Kenneth Aguba was rescued from living as a destitute in an open market, where he had been sleeping rough and begging for survival.
HRM King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) Worldwide, took him in and has since provided full support—including housing, food, clothing, and a monthly allowance—funded by the church’s tithes and offerings.
Health Crisis: Aguba Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer
Recent medical evaluations revealed that Aguba is battling prostate cancer, requiring weekly hospital visits. While Apostle Chibuzor strongly believes in divine healing, he also acknowledges the role of medical science, stating:
“God gave doctors wisdom to treat illnesses, which is why OPM built two 100% FREE specialist hospitals—open to all, including Muslims and Christians from other denominations.”
The OPM Free Hospitals carry the motto: “WE CARE, BUT GOD HEALS,” emphasizing faith alongside medical intervention.
No Family Support; OPM Steps In
Despite his fame, Aguba has no wife, siblings, or relatives caring for him. For four years, OPM has been his sole provider, with a dedicated pastor in Enugu ensuring his meals and welfare.
Call for Prayers
The church urges the public to pray for Aguba’s healing while continuing to support the less privileged through its humanitarian missions.
OPM’s free hospitals remain open to all Nigerians, with surgeries and treatments at zero cost.
