Israel has delivered a chilling new warning to Iran, vowing to reduce Tehran to ashes if missile attacks on Israeli soil continue. The threat comes amid a dangerous escalation between the two adversaries, with tensions reaching a boiling point.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued the stark message in response to a sustained barrage of Iranian missiles reportedly striking residential areas, accusing Tehran of crossing a red line.
“If Ayatollah Ali Khamenei keeps firing missiles at Israel’s cities, Tehran will burn,” Katz declared in a sharply worded statement on Saturday.
The warning followed a series of retaliatory strikes from Iran, which were launched in response to Friday’s devastating Israeli airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities and military leadership.
According to Iran’s UN envoy, the Israeli attack killed at least 78 people, including civilians, and caused significant damage to nuclear and military sites. The exchange marks one of the most volatile confrontations between the two nations in recent years.
