Popular Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia, better known as Omah Lay, has been involved in a car accident in Lagos.
The incident, which occurred on Saturday, reportedly involved two Tesla trucks linked to the artiste.
The incident came to light after UK-based music executive, Adesope Olajide, aka Shopsydoo, shared a video of the wrecked vehicles on Instagram on Saturday.
#Omahlay got into an accident last night. Thank God he is safe, we go buy two more once that album drops … more stories to tell,” he wrote.
As of press time, details surrounding the accident remain unclear, but a viral clip online shows the two Tesla trucks badly damaged.
The singer’s team has not yet issued an official statement regarding the crash.
Omah Lay, who gained fame with hits like “Bad Influence,” “Soso,” and “Understand,” is one of Nigeria’s most streamed young artistes globally.
He is also said to be working on his next studio project.
