Grandmother Brought 6 Live Chicken to School as Fees After Grand Daughter Was Sent Home

In a touching display of determination and love, a grandmother surprised teachers at Adiedo Mixed Secondary School by arriving with her granddaughter—and six live chickens—to settle the girl’s unpaid school fees. The elderly woman had brought the poultry after her granddaughter was sent home for lack of payment.

In a moment that moved onlookers, one of the hens even laid an egg on the spot, which is a sign of God’s blessing and proving that the grandmother had sacrificed her precious laying hens to secure the young girl’s education.

The unusual but heartfelt payment highlighted the family’s commitment to keeping the child in school despite financial struggles.
