Ndi Orieke Community Celebrates Road Constructed by Sen Kalu, Says He has truly wiped away their tears

The Ndi Orieke community in Ohafia has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for his unwavering support and commitment to their development. During a recent visit from a special delegation to inspect the newly constructed road, Ezie Ogo Ibe Kalu Mba, the esteemed leader of the community, shared the overwhelming joy of his people at this significant milestone.

In his remarks, Ezie Ogo Mba emphasized that Senator Kalu’s efforts have brought immense joy to the Ndi Orieke people, who have long endured the challenges of inadequate infrastructure. “Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has wiped away the tears of Ndi Orieke,” Ezie Ogo Mba stated. “We are not concerned with the grade A-F of the road; what matters is that we are finally being remembered. For the first time, we can move freely in and out of our village, especially with the rainy season approaching.”

Ezie Ogo Mba also addressed the misinformation circulating on social media, stating that those spreading false narratives about the road project do not represent the true sentiments of Ndi Orieke. He urged the community to remain united and focused on the positive changes brought about by Senator Kalu’s initiatives.

The inspection visit was organized under the auspices of the OUK Representative in Ohafia LGA, led by Hon. Prince Emma Nwosu the Co Chairman APC Ohafia LGA. In his address, Hon. Nwosu reassured the community that Senator Kalu has their best interests at heart. He highlighted the senator’s previous contributions, including the provision of transformers, educational materials, solar lights, and now, the much-anticipated road construction. He also hinted at more developmental projects in the pipeline for Ndi Orieke.

The delegation included notable figures such as Hon. Barr. Mbila Uma Ayi, legislative aide to the senator, Joe Emmanuel, legislative aide on special duties, and Hon. Jacklin Ume, Chairman of the OUK Movement in Ohafia LGA. Each member of the team echoed the sentiment of gratitude and encouraged the community to continue supporting Senator Kalu in his political endeavors.

Ezie Ogo Mba further noted that Senator Kalu is the first governor in the history of Abia State to visit their neglected community, providing them with a transformer when they were in dire need of electricity. He expressed deep appreciation for the solar street lights that now illuminate their village, making Senator Kalu a household name in Ndi Orieke.

Elder Bassey Uchendu, a council member and spokesman for the community, also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the senator for his ongoing support and dedication to the welfare of Ndi Orieke.

The Ndi Orieke community stands united in their appreciation for Senator Kalu’s unwavering support and commitment to their development. As they look forward to a brighter future, they remain hopeful that this road construction project is just the beginning of many more positive changes to come.
