In response to recent security intelligence, the Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon. Amoka Eneji Monday, has announced a ban on all political rallies and unregulated public gatherings within the LGA.
This decision, made after a high-level security meeting with heads of security and Traditional rulers in Kogi Central, aims to maintain peace and prevent potential security breaches in the region.
“We will not compromise the safety of our people,” said Hon. Amoka Eneji Monday. “We urge everyone to remain vigilant and cooperate with the government and security agencies to keep our communities safe.”
The ban includes public rallies, public gatherings that could disrupt the peace, and unregulated convoy entries into the senatorial district.

– Local Government Chairmen across Kogi Central
– Senior Special Assistants on Security to Kogi State Governor
– Traditional Rulers
– Heads of Security outfits
– Other community stakeholders
