Lagos State Expands Light Up Lagos Project & Solar Retrofitting Across Key Locations through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, continues to drive its commitment to a well-lit, secure, and energy-efficient Lagos with the ONGOING Light Up Lagos Streetlight Project and Solar Retrofitting Initiative.

From Mobolaji Johnson Avenue to Ikeja, Ketu, and Kosofe, streetlights are being installed and upgraded to enhance security, improve visibility, and boost economic activity across communities. This initiative aligns with the state’s sustainability goals, ensuring a cleaner energy mix through solar retrofitting of existing streetlights.

This is just the beginning! The Light Up Lagos project is expanding to every corner of the state, reaching streets, highways, and neighborhoods to create a safer, more vibrant, and energy-efficient environment for all residents.
