Uchechi Okwu-Kanu, the wife of the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to a trending story of her alleged son winning the best student in Mathematics and Science in the United States.
A viral reports has alleged that her son, Nnamdi Kanu Jnr., has won the best Student in a competition held in Georgia, USA.

The Alleged Son
According to the story which Kanu’s wife described as false, Kanu Jnr., outshined other students to emerged as the winner after answering the questions flawlessly.
“Nnamdi Kanu’s son has been crowned Best Student in Mathematics & Science in Georgia, USA, after outshining competitors from nearly 30 countries, including China and England” “His exceptional IQ played a key role in his victory, and despite the rigorous, highly monitored exam conditions, he displayed remarkable integrity, answering every question flawlessly,” the story added.
Reacting, Mrs. Kanu in a post on her verified Meta account, said this is not the first time such story has trended.
According to her, the story trended years ago and she debunked it. She said while it is a good news, however, it’s important to note that the boy attached alongside her husband, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not their son and the story is fabricated.
“I wish this brilliant boy or brilliant boys and their parents well. To be mentioned alongside a great man like Onyendu Mazi #NnamdiKanu is a rare privilege.
They are indeed blessed . This hoax trended 2 or 3 years ago if am not mistaken. “I wish the originator of this story had a better eye sight,” Mrs. Kanu posted on Facebook.
