A former chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, Dr Samuel Nwanosike has claimed that He is still the executive chairman of the council.
Nwanosike made this claim on Friday while reacting to the Supreme Court Judgment on the Rivers State political crises which the court ruled on.
Nwanosike was one of former LGA Chairmen whose tenure had ended but was extended by the Martin Amaewhule-led Rivers State House of Assembly for 6 months.
The Supreme Court today ordered the immediate return of Martin Amaewhule and his fellow Lawmakers.
Nwanosike based his claim on the Supreme Court Judgment.
