Since his electoral victory as the senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, he has continued to make positive impacts in the lives of the people.
Without exaggeration, it can also be said that his destiny appears intertwined with impacting knowledge, building and molding manpower, training, and carrying out developmental projects for the growth of his constituency and Abia State.
A philanthropist and humanist, the former Governor of Abia State has touched every community in Abia North through the construction of roads, schools, healthcare centers, scholarships, street solar lights, and the distribution of educational materials spread across the senatorial district.
There is no doubt that his recent appointment by the Nigerian Senate as Chairman of the Senate Committee on the South East Development Commission, one of the regional bodies signed into law by President Bola Tinubu, will address developmental challenges in the South East region.
Members of the public have continued to express confidence in him, believing that the oversight functions of the committee, with him as Chairman, will accelerate and fast-track development in the South East region.
