The US Embassy in Abuja and Consulate in Lagos will be closed today, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents’ Day, a holiday honoring past and present American presidents.
A statement from the US diplomatic mission confirmed that normal operations will resume on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
While routine visa and consular services will be unavailable during the closure, emergency contact options remain open for urgent matters.
Presidents’ Day is observed annually on the third Monday of February in the United States.
