Sen. Kalu Condoles With Gov Umo Eno Over Wife's Demise

 

Chairman, Senate Committee on Privatization, Senator Orji Kalu has commiserated with the government and people of Akwa Ibom state over the passing of the First Lady of the state, Pastor Patience Umo Eno.

Kalu stressed that the deceased was a strong pillar of support for her husband and other family members while acknowledging her contributions to the society through her humanitarian platform-the Golden Initiative For All (GIFA).

The former Governor stated that the deceased will be remembered for her good deeds, adding that she was a woman of virtue.

In a condolence message, Kalu prayed to God to give Governor Umo Eno the fortitude to bear the sad loss.

He said, ” I mourn the passing of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom state, Pastor Patience Umo Eno.

“She was a woman of substance who dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity.

“The late First Lady played significant roles in advancing the cause of the people through various initiatives and platforms.

“She left behind remarkable deeds for her family members and loved ones to uphold.

“The deceased was a role model for the womenfolk”.

Kalu prayed for eternal rest for the late First Lady.
