Nigeria @64:Sen Stella Oduah Expresses Hope, Congratulates Nation

Hopes that the Nation will succeed despite its prevailing challenges has been expressed by Senator Stella Oduah. The former Lawmaker who represented Anambra North in the 9th Assembly stated this ahead of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day Anniversary on Tuesday October 1st.

Urging citizens not to despair and remain patriotic, Oduah in a statement she personally signed in Abuja on Monday stressed that Policies of the Tinubu led Government will in the shortest possible period start to yield positive results.

According to her, despite the hardship there are many reasons to celebrate, particularly the unfereted democratic process of the country since 1999.

Another reason she highlighted is the ongoing reforms in the oil and gas sector which she said will bring about competitiveness and ultimately make the price of Petroleum Products particularly Petrol more affordable for Nigerians.

Her statement read partly; “As we commemorate our 64 years of Nationhood, it is no doubt that as a Nation we are confronted with economic challenges , however I urge us all to remain resolute and united as Nation.

“Our independence has afforded us the opportunity to aspire to greatness as a Nation in our own values and culture without any interference.

“For our Nation to succeed all citizens regardless of social strata must support the government policies and also engage in constructive criticisms where deemed necessary.

“I salute and congratulate all Nigerians as we continue to remain a force to be reckoned with in the globe.
