Daniel Bwala, a former spokesman to ex-Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has claimed some government agents do not believe in President Bola Tinubu.
Bwala claimed that these agents believed they would incur the wrath of the people by depending on Tinubu’s administration.
He spoke on Channels Television while reacting to Tinubu’s planned cabinet reshuffling. On Wednesday, the Presidency confirmed a cabinet reshuffle.
Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed that the President was indeed tinkering with the idea of rejigging his Council, but declined to be specific on how soon the Ministers will be moved around or dropped.
Reacting, Bwala said: “Some agents of the government, very sadly, their attitude suggests that they don’t even believe in the president. They prefer to play it safe; they feel that if they depend on the government, they will incur the wrath of the people. They want to be clever by half.”
