We Must Win AFCON 2025 Trophy - Super Eagles Players Vow

Uyo, Nigeria – The Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, are gearing up to take on Rwanda at the Uyo stadium next month, with a clear mission to bring home the AFCON 2025 trophy.

The Super Eagles, three-time African champions, have been on a quest to reclaim their continental dominance since their last title win in 2013. With a new generation of talented players and a revamped coaching staff, the team is poised to make a strong push for the coveted trophy.

Fresh from their impressive run as runners-up in the 2023 AFCON tournament, where they narrowly lost to Ivory Coast in the final, the team is hungrier than ever to go all the way and lift the trophy.

According to a post by Stanley Nwabali, the team has reached a decision to go all out and secure the trophy, with captain Troost Ekong declaring that the team is willing to give it their all, even if it costs them their lives. Ekong’s rallying cry has been echoed by other key players, including Lookman and Osimhen, who have pledged their support and are eager to do whatever it takes to achieve their goal.

The team’s determination is fueled by their desire to make amends for their narrow defeat in the last tournament and bring joy to their fans.

The Super Eagles will face a stern test against Rwanda, who have been on the rise in African football, having qualified for the 2021 AFCON and putting up a strong showing in the tournament.

The match against Rwanda will be played at the Uyo stadium, which has been a fortress for the Super Eagles in recent years. The team has a strong record at the venue, having won several crucial matches there, including a 4-0 thrashing of Cameroon in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.

With the stage set for an exciting encounter against Rwanda, the Super Eagles are poised to give it their all and make Nigeria proud. The team’s success will depend on the support of their fans, who have been a crucial factor in their success over the years.
