Five Persons Reportedly Killed Biafra Separatists Clash With Cameroonian Forces

No fewer than five persons have been reportedly killed in the early hours of today as Combined team of Cameroonian Forces and Biafra Separatist groups are still battling for control of Bakassi Peninsula south at the Eastern end of the Gulf of Guinea.

Local report says that the reinforced Cameroonian Forces had moved into Idabato subdivision and Kumbo Itindi subdivision in the evening on Sunday 28 July, launching an attack on both the Black Marine and Dragon Fighter Marine , armed separatists who teamed up to take Bakassi south.

Four Cameroonian Soldiers has been reportedly killed, including one separatist, it was gathered that bullet also hit the G2 of the Black Marine and has been fatally injured as at the time of this report.

The gun battle happened from 5am, it is not clear if the Biafra Separatists has been dislodged from the high sea.

Few days ago, the separatist fled to Equatorial Guinea Island and were confronted on a face to gun battle by Equatorial Guinea Forces which led to the death of three Equatorial Guinea Navy and one separatist, the group also returned to the Bakassi Peninsula an area Biafra claims.
