Cherish And Maintain What You Have, To Get More, ex Gov Udom Emmanuel tells PDP Faithful

The immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has stressed the need to jealously guard any public facility provided in the common interest, as doing so is a way of attracting more largesse to the community.

Speaking at his home ward, Awa Ward 1, Onna Local Government Area, during the PDP Ward Congress meant to elect Ward Executives and adhoc delegates across all wards, Mr. Emmanuel acknowledged the people’s unfailing love for the PDP and assured that such confidence will never be betrayed.

He reminded the faithful of the need to protect every infrastructure of government in their domain, and appreciated the State Governor, His Excellency, Pst. Umo Eno, for obviously making the welfare of the people a top priority.

He promised to be available for greater synergies and urged the people to value what they have as the PDP government is ever ready to cater for the well-being of all persons.

The Chapter Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Onna, Barr. Ubong Adiakpan, amongst other speakers, said the mammoth crowd that greeted the Ward Congress was a testimony of the people’s belief in the party, especially, in view of the superlative performance of the immediate past Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel.

“Onna is PDP. I’ve taken time to review the Congress in the wards, and the response is overwhelming everywhere”, he noted.
