Mali have sacked head coach Éric Chelle following a rather disappointing start to at the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

Mali sit 4th in Group I with 5 points from 4 Games after recent results of 2-1 to Ghana and a 0-0 draw with Madagascar.
