The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) and the People’s Democratic Institute (PDI) Abuja yesterday in Umuahia Abia State honored The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the PDP Senator Adolphus Wabara in grand style.
The event which had in attendance the Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Amb Umar Iliya Damagum, Chairman of the Grand Reception in Honour of Senator Adolphus Wabara and Governor of Oyo State Governor Oluseyi Makinde, Governor of Enugu State Dr Peter Mbah, Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Mohammed, Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti, Senator Austin Akobundu and top leaders and members of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) held at the Trade More Event Centre Umuahia, Abia State.
In his Welcome address, Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah said the contributions of Senator Adolphus Wabara in Nigeria is worthy of note and that he deserved to be celebrated .
Chairman of the occasion who is the Governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde said the PDP family is proud of the outstanding contributions of Senator Wabara.
The Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti in his speech appreciated the PDP for honouring Senator Wabara whom he described as a worthy son of the State.
He said the Government of Abia State in celebration of his 76th Birthday will host a Banquet in his honour at the International Conference Centre Umuahia this evening.
The immediate past Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu was conspicuously absent at the grand event.
