Abia Online Media Embark on Project Tour Ahead of Gov Otti's One Year Anniversary

By Ifeanyi Okali, Aba

The Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN), Abia State Chapter, has embarked on a project tour of the state, starting with Aba, ahead of Governor Alex Otti’s one year anniversary in office.

The tour, which is scheduled for May 23-24, 2024, aims to give bloggers a firsthand experience of the projects executed by the current administration, criticize them, and publish their findings.

The bloggers will visit completed and ongoing projects in the state, including the 188-megawatt geometric power plant in Aba, which was inaugurated by Vice President Kashim Shettima to accelerate power supply to industrial clusters in the region.

The project tour is part of OMPAN’s efforts to give an eyewitness account of government projects to the public, as they have done in the past.

The project tour by OMPAN is a welcome development, as it will give the public an accurate picture of the projects executed by the current administration in Abia State. The findings of the tour will be eagerly awaited, as they will provide a firsthand account of the successes and challenges of the administration’s projects.
