The ambiance of the hall was nothing short of enchanting, bedecked with vibrant decorations that set the stage for a truly festival celebration.
Resplendent in an all-white traditional attire that perfectly complemented her husband’s ensemble, Olufunke Daniel exuded elegance and poise throughout the soirée. The couple, inseparable throughout the event, radiated happiness as they revelled in the company of their esteemed guests.
The festivities reached a crescendo with the soul-stirring melodies of renowned saxophonist Beejaysax, captivating the audience and prompting the birthday girl to showcase her dance prowess, much to the delight of everyone present.
The legendary Juju music maestro, Sunny Ade, added his signature flair to the occasion, mesmerizing the crowd with his electrifying dance moves and infectious tunes.
Among the distinguished guests in attendance were luminaries from politics, business, entertainment, and religion. Notable figures included the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi; business magnates such as Oba Otudeko, Sir Olu Okeowo, and Rasaq Okoya alongside his wife, Shade; as well as political heavyweights like Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Jibrin Barau, former governors Dr. Muazu Aliyu and Rotimi Amaechi, and Senator Adams Oshiomhole.
Wife of Senate President Ekaette Akpabio led an association of senators wives to the occasion and also represented the wife of the President, Remi Tinubu.
