Saudi Arabia enters the Miss Universe pageant for the first time in history, allowing their entry to show her face and skin.

Rumy Alqahtani, a 27-year-old Riyadh-born model, will be representing Saudi Arabia at the pageant.

She is only the second woman from the Gulf region to participate in the pageant, following in the footsteps of Miss Universe Bahrain who took part in the pageant last year.
