Woman Whose Yam Barn Was Burnt To Ashes In Ebonyi Receives Bags Of Rice, Garri, Cash Donations From Nigerian Philanthropist, John Aniobi (Photos)

An elderly Ebonyi woman, Bridget Ekunyi whose yam barn was burnt to ashes on Wednesday has received cash donation, bags of rice, Garri and other Items from Nigerian Philanthropist and Igbere TV Fan, John Aniobi who based in Italy.

The gift items and donations worth 100,000 Naira were given to her by IgbereTV Senior correspondent, Wisdom Nwedene who visited the scene of the incident at Ngbo Okposhi Umuakpu, Ndiagu Igube to be precise.

Speaking with our correspondent, the woman said she was sleeping at night when she noticed that something was burning and came out only to see that her only investment (Yam Barn) has been gutted by fire.

She appreciated Mr John Aniobi for the cash donation, bags of rice, Garri, other items and prayed to God to continue blessing him.

She further thanked Igbere TV management and its Senior Editor, Wisdom Nwedene for coming to her rescue and pleaded with other well meaning Nigerians to come to her aid.
