The governor of Lagos state, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has unveiled Iwosan Lagoon Hospital, aimed at transforming the medical landscape, reversing medical tourism, and delivering quality healthcare services to Nigerians.
Sanwo-Olu, at the unveiling of Iwosan Lagoon Hospital, Victoria Island, yesterday, in Lagos, averred that the hospital, with a focus on clinical expertise and customer experience, aimed to boost healthcare services in the state and Nigeria at large.
Positioned as the Centre of Excellence for Cardiology, the 27-bed multispecialty facility boasts a team of world-class healthcare experts and advanced technology-driven medical equipment, including a Catheterization Laboratory for early diagnostics and treatment of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. The facility signifies Iwosan Lagoon’s commitment to providing world class healthcare services to Nigerians.
Sanwo-Olu said, “Today is about IWOSAN Lagoon Hospitals. This is an institution whose legacy I am proud of. It is with great honour that I unveil their latest state of the art healthcare facility, Iwosan Lagoon Hospital, Victoria Island, designed to serve the people of Lagos. This hospital embodies the critical need for quality healthcare throughout Lagos and Nigeria, its opening marks a significant step towards improving the lives of our communities.”
