Former President Olusegun Obasanjo said leaders who do not fear God are dangerous. Speaking at a function in Abuja on Thursday, November 30, the former Nigerian leader urged Nigerian youth to believe in Nigeria and develop a love for the country.
While advising Nigerian youth on leadership qualities, Obasanjo said,
Knowledge is very important. You also need to fear God and be close to Him. If you are a leader and you don’t fear God, you are a dangerous leader. No matter where you choose, leadership is very important, and the principles are basically the same. A good leader must have certain characteristics. Knowledge is good, but it is not enough. How diligent are you? What is your level of integrity? What are the values you hold dear?”
