The Nigerian Super Eagles football team dropped two places from 40th to 42nd in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola world rankings
The latest rankings were published on FIFA’s website in 2023 at 11.30 PM (Thursday).
The drop in the rankings comes after Nigeria made a 1-1 draw against Lesotho and Zimbabwe in the Group C2026FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
After the opening game 2, the 3rd African champion became second only to leader Rwanda and 2nd place South Africa in 3rd place.
