The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) recently made significant strides in combating illegal activities related to crude oil in Imo State.
In separate operations, the NSCDC uncovered illicit crude oil warehouses and successfully apprehended two suspects.
These achievements were detailed on the official NSCDC Facebook page, accompanied by compelling images that vividly depict the success of their enforcement efforts.
The post reads in part: “Intensifying the war against economic saboteurs: The CG SIS arrests two suspected economic saboteurs and impounds one Toyota Sequoia jeep loaded with over 5,000 litres of suspected adulterated AGO at Abacheke of Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State.”
Additionally, NSCDC revealed that during the operations, two illegal crude oil warehouses located in a dense forest in Izorsu community of Oguta II Local Government Area and Umuofor community of Oguta Local Government Area in Imo State were discovered and subsequently destroyed, Pmnews.ng reports.
