The candidate of the Action People’s Party (APP), Ogege Kemelayepa, has declared himself proud of the votes he received in the November 11 Bayelsa State governorship election.
Oge received only 14 votes out of 300,072 votes in the election won by incumbent Governor Duoye Diri.
Commenting on this election, the APP candidate said in an interview with Premium Times:
“I am not satisfied with the result. Vote-buying, rigging and rigging the results have been raised. There were many mistakes in the process, but I am proud of the 14 votes. “You know why?” These 14 people believe in my vision for Bayelsa State.
“As for the disappointment, yes. I am very disappointed with the ruling party that has devastated the people to the point where only the people have to survive. So they took this money to the vote because they had to survive. I am disappointed that the ruling party has not considered the interests of the people and that for four years a good road network has not been created for power generation, power supply, industry and people.
