Senator Godswill Akpabio, the Senate president of the 10th Assembly has addressed the secondary school students who participated in the grand finale of the national Quiz competition in FCT 2023.
The Senate president addressed the secondary school students who participated in the quiz Organised by National institute for Legislative and Democratic studies on positive morals conducts, Akpabio said ” I have never taken alcohol nor smoked cigarettes in my life”
Urging them to refrain from taking alcohol or engaging in smoking or taking any form of substances that could be injurious to their health.
Giving the the reason why he had never smoked nor drink alcohol, Akpabio said “as a kid ,I usually see a man will staggered on the Road and fall into the gutters . I asked my mom who told me it was because he was drunk.”
“some people will drink alcohol and drive home home while some would drink and drive to paradise.”
He added that Nigerian deserves youths who are honest and God-fearing.
