President Bola Tinubu arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the Saudi-African Summit scheduled for Friday, November 10
At the airport in the Middle Eastern country of Saudi Arabia, President Tinubu was received by ministers, parliamentarians, and other government officials.
According to Presidential Spokesperson Ajri Ngelaleh, the visit is a strong boost to the administration’s ongoing domestic economic reforms.
The first Saudi-African summit will discuss supporting joint action, strengthening political coordination, and addressing regional security threats.
The Saudi-African summit is also expected to promote economic transformation through research and the local development of new energy solutions, and foster cross-sectoral investment cooperation, Nergelali noted.
Also accompanying the President are Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tugal, Minister of Education Tahir Manman, and Minister of Economic Coordination and Minister of Finance Waleh Edun.
Others are National Security Advisor (NSA) Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, and Chairman of the Nigerian National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) Mallam Jalal Alabi.
The President will return to Abuja after the conclusion of the Saudi-Africa Summit.
