The Ibadan zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has achieved a significant milestone by securing the conviction and sentencing of 41 individuals involved in internet fraud across Oyo and Ogun states.
These convictions were the result of the culprits pleading guilty to one-count charges filed against them. The legal proceedings took place in different courts across both states.
In Oyo State, the convicted individuals faced justice before Judges Ladiran Akintola and Adebukola Olajide at the Oyo State High Court in Ibadan.
