Former Rivers United left-back Ebube Duru has charged Madiba FC to aim for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Madiba FC will be participating in the 2023-24 Nigeria National League.
Duru believed that the team have all it takes to secure promotion to the top-flight.
“With the good set of players who are hungry to play also based on record I heard about the team, NPFL promotion is certain,” he told the club’s media during a training visit.
“I will not be surprise to see Madiba FC promoting to NPFL because of the young collection of energetic players that I trained with this morning, I also wish to see them so fast in the NPFL.”
Madiba FC are in group A of the Southern Conference alongside Smart City FC, Beyond Limits, 1472 FC, 12FC, Vandrezzer FC, Dakkada, Rovers FC, Coal City, Abia Comets and Stormers FC.
