Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Jonathan Konricks said the ongoing military operations in northern Gaza are focused on “Hamas centers of gravity.
We are going after their commanders,” he said. We are attacking their infrastructure, and anytime there is a prominent Hamas-linked target, we will attack it. Now we are doing so professionally. Hamas is the enemy, not the civilians.
The Israeli Air Force said in a Tuesday posting that the IDF “attacked approximately 300 targets in the past day, including anti-tank artillery and rocket launching positions, tunnel tunnels, and military installations of the terrorist organization Hamas.”
He added, “During the ground forces’ operations, they engaged in several battles with terrorist units who fired anti-tank missiles and machine guns at the units. The unit directed air units to eliminate the terrorists and destroy terrorist targets and infrastructure in real time.”
