At the federal Executive council meeting held on Monday the 30th of October 2023, before the commencement of the meeting, president Ahmed Bola Tinubu issue d warning to top government official and family members.
He warned top government official against and family members against attending the FEC meeting without invitation.
“Last week,I noticed people sneaking in and out of the council, people have access to this place when they should not .That is not acceptable”.
“I will announce to you people who are supposed to be here: Special Adviser on policy coordination, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Principal Private Secretaries”.
These are the people who are granted access to be here when we are conducting business of the Nation unless I send for you, don’t come”.
“Unless they are your staff that are included,no one should have access to Federal Executive Council Meeting except I announced their names to you”.
The President however expressed absolute confidence in the integrity of his chief of staff , Femi Gbajabiamila.
“There are a lot of stories going round about what is happening.I have told everyone in this country that I can make mistakes”.
” I have had to hear them out and correct them, perfection is that of God
almighty.I have absolute confidence in the integrity of my chief of staff “.
“All the campaign of columny and insinuation should stop ” president Bola Tinubu added.
