Armed groups suspected of being kidnappers kidnapped a Catholic priest, father. Thaddeus Tarhembe in Taraba community
John Jerome Lai kei, communications officer for the Catholic Diocese of Wukari, confirmed the incident in a statement
Fr. Mr. Raikey said that in the early hours of Sunday 2023-10-29, a priest was kidnapped in his parish of Saint Ann’s Parish, Sarkin Kudu, in the Ibi regional government area of the province.
The statement urged residents to pray for his safety and speedy return.
A spokesman for the State Police Command, Abdullahi Usman, confirmed the incident.
