AEDC Blames Cable Vandals for Power break down in Abuja

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), in a statement issued on Friday, October 27, blamed cable vandals for the power outage that occurred in parts of the Federal Capital Territory.

 

 

The AEDC said most areas of Garki were affected by the power outage. The statement said;

 

 

 

‘The management of AEDC wishes to inform our valued customers in and around Garki 1 to 7 that when feeder H1, a 33Kv feeder, was restored from the Apo transmission station at 11:29am today, a suspected cable failure was identified, resulting in a power outage to our valued customers in areas 1 to 7.
