Destiny Enabulele, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) representing Ovia South-West constituency, has been removed from office by the Edo State House of Assembly Electoral Tribunal.
The tribunal, led by Justice A.O. Chijoke, removed Enabulele for non-compliance with the Electoral Act of 2022, as amended.
The tribunal declared the APC candidate, Sunday Agedo, the rightful winner and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Mr. Enabulele and issue it to Mr. Agedo.
