Chibuikem Emmanuel: Six Chinese Men Accused in the Philippines

The Philippine National Police has successfully identified four of the six Chinese suspects allegedly linked to the tragic killing of Nigerian medical student Chibuikem Emmanuel.

This significant development was revealed by the deceased student’s friend, Michael Ojuola, in a Wednesday update through his social media handle, @michaelojuola.

“The Mandeau City Police division @ MCPOstation4 has been able to identify 4 out of the Six Chinese nationals who perpetrated the mvrderous crime, all the 4 Chinese nationals information and pictures has been sent to the local airports.

“To avoid them escaping, they’ve also started tracking them as well to be able to get them to pay for their crime. An Autopsy was carried out yesterday 25-10-2023 and result would be out in 4 days as reported by the medical team. All thanks to a Nigerian in the Philippines,” he wrote.

Mr. Ojuola revealed that a Nigerian national named Chuks generously covered the expenses for both the autopsy and the hospital bills.

In addition, he extended his gratitude to the Nigerian community residing in the province of Cebu, Philippines, who rallied together to pursue legal action in response to this tragic incident.

As per Ojuola’s account on a Sunday, Chibuikem’s untimely demise was allegedly the result of a heinous act committed by a group of individuals of Chinese descent. It is claimed that the deceased suffered fatal injuries due to what appeared to be a brutal episode of torture, during which his hands and mouth were bound, and he was subjected to severe beatings that ultimately led to his tragic death.
