Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has made an astonishing claim regarding the demise of the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Portable alleges that Naira Marley, the head of the Marlian record label, is responsible for Mohbad’s death. Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, at the young age of 27.
In the wake of Mohbad’s passing, the internet has been abuzz with accusations against Naira Marley. Many have alleged that he made threats against Mohbad’s life, engaged in cyberstalking, and committed other offenses during Mohbad’s lifetime.
A video of Portable making these claims has been circulating widely.
In the video, Portable characterizes the late singer as a ‘traitor’ who supposedly betrayed Naira Marley by associating with his perceived enemies.
His words: “Mohbad was killed because he was a betrayer. We help these young artists and make them blow, but they repay us with evil. After everything Marlian music did for Mohbad, he later said they didn’t love him. He left the label and went to associate with the enemies of Naira Marley.
“Those ones then killed him to implicate Naira. God will save Naira from this mess because he only helped Mohbad out of a good heart, but he betrayed him.”
