Niger Tornadoes head coach, Hamza Abarah has said the victory against Bayelsa United was a well orchestrated plan.
The Ikon Allah Boys defeated the Prosperity Boys 1-0 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, on Saturday.
Yahuza Bala got the lone goal in the second half of the encounter from a well fed pass from Idris Saidu.
Abarah admitted that the encounter was a difficult one but expressed delight with the victory.
“Our target was to win the match, we planned for it and we won it,” he told the club’s media.
“Though it was a difficult game from start to finish, but fortunately, we got the much needed goal and that was our plan.”
