Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has paid the pensions of 1500 persons out of 1716 pensioners in the State.
This was was made known to IGBERE TV on Saturday by Mr. Leo Oketa, Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor.
According to him, “We can confirm that as at yesterday, Friday, October 20, 2023, 1500 of the 1716 Pensioners in Ebonyi State profiled for payment from 1996 to 2021 have received their full gratuities, totaling the sum of N3,528,720,075.23kobo. The remaining 216 persons will be completed on Monday, October 23, 2023. ”
